A rare anxiety disorder, Selective Mutism. I want to make people aware that there are others out there that find it extremely hard to talk

Son Chaeyoung is diagnosed with Selective mutism. He lives with his mom, who is a single mother. His mother has to take multiple jobs to make ends meet. Myoui Mina is a rich girl, who just moved to Korea. There he met Son Chaeyoung. A boy who has never spoken a single word. Will they be friends? or Will they be more than that?

This story is about a girl named mackenzie and her struggles of growing up with a phycological disorder called selective mutism.

Selective mutism isn't something that's fake or made up. It's a real thing that not many people know about. I never knew until I was told I had it. This is going to have some experiences I have had, and maybe or poem or two. But just renember this, someone may look just shy, but it isn't always just shy. Selective mutism is a real anxiety disorder that needs to be understood.

A poem I had written a few years ago about Selective Mutism (SM), which is an anxiety disorder that makes is very difficult, basically impossible, to speak in social situations. We can speak perfectly fine when comfortable (home, with family and close friends), but physically cannot in situations such as school or public because of excessive anxiety.
