People all say that Archangel is as safe as can be. You can ask anybody around. They'll tell you as much. That sleepy logging town is the kind of place where people spend their summers grilling down by the lake, and where they know their neighbor's name. Heck, just walk down any road in town and see how many folks wave to you as they drive past. You'd probably even get the same treatment from the guards down at the TARN Defense Industries labs. Just mind that you don't get too close to the gate. Oh, and try not to listen too closely to any sounds coming from the other side of the fence. With Archangel being the kind of small town that it is, no one knew how to make heads or tails of the Novak boy going missing. The Sheriff-being mostly TARN's Sheriff-blamed some kind of cult for the crime, on account of all the blood and the symbols carved into the trees where they found the kid's truck. Some people bought it. Some, but not all. See, people have questions-especially people like Brandon Jones. His sister, Amanda, went missing back in '99, and from what people around town are saying, he's got an itch to prove that those TARN people had something to do with whatever happened to both Amanda, and Thomas. Archangel being what it is, he might have a shot at it. But then again, he might not.

#SurvivalRomance #ForcedProximity #Fast-paced BOUGHT BY WATTPAD WEBTOON STUDIOS FOR PUBLISHING/MOVIE DEALS!!! (Contract expired September, 2025) Winner of the Wattys 2020 Award Plot: In 1974, the mysterious cult's mass kidnapping and ritualistic killing led to the summoning of the Shade-a paranormal entity of living shadow. Ever since then, starting in October in Bastillio-a city in the Philippines steeped in history and superstition-the Shade would be seen haunting twelve teenagers at night throughout the month, often resulting in their deaths. But the discovery of U.V. lights as a deterrent from the Shade led the government to establish a system to contain the Shade's threat. Fast forward to 2025, twenty years after the system had successfully prevented any more deaths, the media and global firestorm surrounding the phenomenon died down. So when sixteen-year-old Vergil Torres was identified as one of the twelve and was immediately brought to Biringan-the government shelter where haunteds like him would stay for the month-he was more excited than scared for his life. But the gruesome and inexplicable death of one of them during their stay in the supposedly safe house renews the horror of the Shade. Vergil, together with his classmate and fellow haunted, the "traditional morena beauty" Cana Bernardo, decided to get to the bottom of it. The two classmates who were indifferent to each other must now work together if they are to survive through the month.

Magic, monsters and people who could control them. Power is a game played out with monstrous pieces all across the ancient world and at its very heart was Rome. Despite its power and influence, the city has fallen on hard times, with wars raging across the northern lands, most men have been levied into the legions but it still isn't enough to achieve the total victory the senate want. When Iatus is pulled off the streets and put to the mage's test he knows he's probably going to die. But when he survives his encounter with a powerful demon, he starts down the path of war, murder and the endless pursuit of power.

With a princess killer to catch, a host of fairy-tale characters to wrangle and a crumbling career to resurrect, fallen hotshot Agent Fields has his hands full. And that's before the case leads to a story-obsessed, dimension-hopping scientist, hellbent on world domination. **** Dumped, demoted and assigned to the mysterious Section F, Fields' number one priority is reversing his sudden career-slide. Even more so after meeting his new partner, the borderline dangerous Agent Peregrine. A specialist in the Agency's most unconventional cases, she suspects the victims in a recent spate of murders are fairy-tale princesses from other worlds. And her prime suspect is story-lover and quantum-science genius Dr Frank Featherstone. Suspecting his partner is crazy, Fields' scepticism begins to wilt when the case leads to a comatose prince, a wisecracking witch and a very much alive princess, with a mean kick to the codpiece up her sleeve. What begins as a murder investigation spirals into a jaw-dropping, dimension-spanning race against time, as the two agents and their new offsiders battle monsters, dodge dragons and receive a first-hand hardcore lesson in fairy-tale lore, while trying to bag the bad guy - and just maybe save the world. *Formerly a Paid Story/Wattpad Original (so you know it must be good, huh?) but now free!*
