Wattys 2017 winner in The Originals category!!!! This is NOT a romance between the main character and some hunky guy. These are the adventures of vampire Lena as she lives her life from day to day alongside her human flatmate Carmen. Together they encounter human rights activists (not what you think), overly attached exes, vampire geeks, quarrelsome shapeshifters, some really chill people, and a boy band. Let's Go For A Pint is a satire/genre parody revolving around tropes associated with vampire fiction (mostly tv and film portrayals but written works may be alluded) Season 1 is up. While marked as complete, expect ongoing editing and bonus content to appear. Cover made in Canva

This is a short story I wrote during the course of a single plane ride from Dallas, Texas, to my home in Lancaster, PA. In it I recount the city I used to live in, Dallas, through vivid mental detail. I went back to sell my novels (The Modern Reformer and Black Genesis: Desert Man) at Dallas Comic Con and found myself with time to spare. So my friend who I was staying with, and is a team member at Modern Comics, walked with me through the city. Than it hit me- my past was there, along with the friends I used to be close to. Yet at that point, they were all gone. I imagine them being where we used to hang out, but it was only a memory. This story explores that concept. Note: It's still a draft. I never really took much time to revise it and go further. I still think it could use a different ending, but I feel that I have to go discover it. Maybe this story is ongoing? I don't know. Anyways, enjoy, and all the best! -Andrew Purdum

A combination of a novel, a memoir and a travelogue, both fiction and non-fiction, a globe-trotting adventure full of sentiment, music, low budgets, trains, encounters and lifestyle, the author confronts his memories - and the miracles - on the page, and embarks on a new trip to celebrate Christmas in Japan in 2014. This is a flawed attempt at aligning the past from two years ago and the present: the musician, the dreamer and the writer, the philosopher, together in one place. Follow his adventures in Japan, and within the soul. Based 100% on true experiences. Keep an eye out for attached photo and video content From the author of featured acclaimed novel, "Espresso Love" and the pioneer of the English cell phone novel movement.
