It all started with a bet. Georgia McAdams versus Hayden Briarwood in a race to see who would get the best swing on the playground. After that, and Georgia's victory, they were inseparable. At least, until right before high school. When tragedy strikes during their seventh grade year, Hayden moves away, and Georgia is left behind. It isn't until their Junior year of high school that Hayden moves back to their small southern town, but he's not the same as before. He's changed, and Georgia did, too. She's not the starry eyed little girl tagging along with the boys any chance she gets. No, she's grown, she's beautiful, she's popular, she's a cheerleader, and for some reason, Hayden hates her.
After he starts avoiding her like the plague, Georgia finally thinks of the only way she can break through to Hayden and figure out what happened all those years ago. She offers him a bet. A bet that'll change both of their lives forever.
Told from both Georgia and Hayden's point of view, this story is full of romance, healing, forgiveness, and grace. It's a journey you won't want to miss.
