Beautiful cover made by @Silverless! Ayan is the Princess of Mereti, a wealthy African nation that has made contact with the Europeans, or the Nechis, in the 18th century. In effort to stop themselves from going to war with the Nechi nation of Arania, a country that had the initial goal of colonizing an unwilling Mereti, they sign several alliance treaties and marry their children to bind themselves by blood once the awaited heir is finally born. The only problem is that Ayan never consented to this marriage. Or to moving thousands of miles away from her homeland. And she certainly isn't consenting to bearing the heir of the arrogant Aranian prince--no matter how charming he is.

I'm not Cinderella I never really believed in fairy tales and love at first sight. I always looked at Cinderella as a desperate fictional creature because all logical reasons shows that: 1). You cannot meet someone for the first time and call it love at first sight (maybe infatuation might be okay). 2) You cannot run away with him the second time you meet him all because one stupid slipper fits you. Have you ever wondered why Prince Charming never divorced Cinderella because they were total strangers they didn't know themselves. Anyways my own Cinderella story as Fannie Lambert starts when I go to the mall to buy my own slipper...
