Castiel has fallen from heaven. He's betrayed and been betrayed by his angel family. And quite frankly, he's dealt okay with the idea since he's had his human family (plus Gabriel). Being the outcast of heaven was fine as long as he had his real family beside him. But one night can change everything. Dean won't bring it up, and Castiel refuses to upset Dean. But when a massive surge of energy hits Castiel's vessel one day, he realizes that the highest atrocity of heaven was committed: A nephilim. But not just any nephilim, Dean's nephilim.

Dean's out searching the night for a human Castiel after the fall. When he finds him broken and in pieces, Dean feels he has no choice but to comfort the man. Their friendship blossoms as their feelings unfold and come to true terms when they find themselves in danger.

Dean starts wearing the glasses used for seeing hellhounds around everywhere to discover other things hidden from his vision. At first he notices nothing. Until one day, Cas shows up and Dean can't seem to take them off. Based off a post I saw on Insta about what if Dean could also see Cas' wings with the glasses on. Not my original idea:)

After Dean and Castiel meet, everyone can feel the tension, especially Dean's brother Sam. With the apocalypse looming, nothing else matters. Or does it? (set mid-season 5). *Obviously all credit to the CW and Supernatural writers for any of their content that I use*

The two try to survive on the island alone until someone can come rescue them. Over time their relationship starts to change as they spend more time around each other than ever before.
