The year was 2235. The planet was ruled by a world superpower known as the "Rokugatsu Oukoku" who had managed to became the very rulers of the world after cataclysmic event known as the Void Era. 80 years later, they launched an attack on their rival organization known as the "Amenominakanushi" to wipe them out all at once which led to the "Kotoamatsukami War". Ten years after the end of the brutal conflict ending in the Rokugatsu Oukoku's victory, Earth is still healing with the Rokugatsu Oukoku ruling over the planet along with a new leader at the helm to maintain the world's fragile balance. Sick of the organization's control, a man known as Izumo the Highlander steps forward and vows to destroy not only the Rokugatsu Oukoku but the very system they had established in the first place with his own power.
