Gerard's life takes a strange turn when his family moves to a small town in Vermont and he discovers the locals aren't all what they seem to be. Unable to stand watching Frank's joy fade away, Gerard comes up with a radical plan to save the kid. Why did I have to get caught up in this? I was supposed to be giving my friend her cup of coffee then going to a day at my college campus. I'm meant to be a doctor, not a hostage. I'm meant to fall in love, have kids, a career, all that stuff. I wanted to believe that there was someone for everyone but in a planet, in this town with so many people what was the changes you actually meet that person? One in a million.

Gerard has been in the Asylum for years, and things are okay, kind of. He has friends, access to art supplies, and he doesn't really want to leave. Enter, Frank. Gerard hasn't ever had something like this happen, and it seems to change everything. A gay bandom AU, mostly Frerard. They're all in a mental hospital. This is in no way accurate in regards to the way actual mental hospitals operate. It's just for fun.

California, 2027: The Fabulous Killjoys are dead. Party Poison, Jet-Star, Fun Ghoul, and Kobra Kid got ghosted by the hands of Korse and his S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/Ws. A year goes by, and they have inspired the other inhabitants of the Zones to join the fight. A particular group of siblings help their friend The Girl to get back the people that mattered most in her life. But the thing that haunts them most is what Party Poison said before he and his gang went off on their fateful mission... "Killjoys never die."
