*Safe Space Sequel* "Is that what you want? To destroy this family?" Does Enji really have the gall to ask something like that when he's the one who's always torn their family apart? He's the reason Shouto's lost his big brother long ago. He's the reason that his mother soon followed. He's the reason why he had to runaway with Katsuki---to choose to not be apart of such a disaster and be happy with the one he loves. How could Enji look him in the eyes and tell him that choosing his own happiness is what has torn their family apart even as someone else lays there in Enji's bed---in the exact spot where his mother used to lay? "There really isn't any hope for you, is there? "We don't know what you mean." Izuku says, mirthful beyond Shouto's curious eyes. Katsuki giggles again and Shouto can't help the way his lips twitch into a fond smile. He rolls his eyes, arms folded over his chest as he obediently stands just outside of the curtain. "Really? You make it fairly hard to believe you when you use that tone, you know." "What tone?" "That one---the one you're using right this second." ________________________________ Todoroki Shouto isn't too keen on birthdays. Or, he wasn't, until Katsuki and Izuku came along.

*Mini Story!* This story takes place in the 'Safe Space' timeline! __________________________________________ "Izuku---" The freckled boy continues to rifle through Katsuki's bag, completely cowed when he finds about five more. He promptly discards them into a nearby trash bin, despite Katsuki's pitiful little protests. The blonde pouts as he peers down into the bag and back up to look Shouto in the face, hoping that he'd say something as Izuku continues his fussing. "Izuku. That wasn't necessary." He speaks up, ruffling Katsuki's hair in an attempt to cheer him up. Izuku turns on him in a heartbeat. "Don't patronize me!" "I'm not patronizing you; he really wanted those." The greenette sputters, bristling at the older boy with seething distaste. Who in the hell hands out CANDIED BELL PEPPERS as Halloween treats?! or, Shouto and his friends take their baby trick or treating.
