The world gets hit by a terrible virus in which humans go into a coma-like state for months or even forever. People are advised to only stay out in the open when really necessary, but Yu wasn't having it. He decided he could go out whenever he wanted and therefore, ended up carrying the virus himself. Yuichiro is stuck in a coma. Everyday for months to come, Mika comes to see him in the hospital. While at the hospital, Mika has conversations with Yu as though he were conscious. He tells him about his days and what has been happening his life and even, the way he feels towards him.
