Living in the Scorch has not been easy for (Y/n), but she manages to get by. With her father Jorge beginning to loose control of their compound, she's finding it difficult to stay. All she wants is to be free, to explore the Scorched world, but on one stormy night, she finds that some new people have survived in the Scorch and found their way to her home. It's been a while since newcomers had arrived, so this intrigues her. She then meets Thomas and his crew whom of which are trying to find the Right Arm just like her father. One boy in particular, a young sarcastic boy with great hair, catches her eye. Seeing the opportunity, (Y/n) decides to help them in exchange for being a part of their group. She has to get them through the Scorch safely to find the Right Arm, and she can't help but fall for that young sarcastic boy, but she isn't the only one with a small crush. A certain British blonde boy has fallen for their fearless leader, but with this love interest being conflicted, will Thomas return the feeling? There are challenges, people get taken, and with the flare becoming airborne, anything can happen. Will they make it to the Right Arm or will WICKED beat them to it? Or maybe, death will. (This is a Minho fanfic that is based primarily on the movies, though some aspects will be from the books. They were just one of WICKED's many awful experiments in hopes of finding a cure. When they were younger and under constant surveillance by WICKED, the experiment was mostly harmless. Small cuts and bruises which could be felt by the other person weren't an issue. It was when WICKED chose to begin putting people in the maze, putting their lives at stake, causing them to endure more than just physical pain was when things became dangerous. All characters, world/setting and other parts of story related to The Maze Runner belong to James Dashner.

{Book 1 of 3} (y/n) and Aris have been stuck at WICKED's facility for days on end, and the meals are beginning to drag on, now that the rest of Group B has either been taken to Janson's promised paradise or disappeared. Although WICKED has been supposedly taking care of them, Aris and (y/n) have their suspicions about this World in Catastrophe Killzone Experiment Department, and they are determined to get answers. Fortunately, a peculiar group of boys stumble into the cafeteria just as (y/n) begins to lose hope, carrying with them a particular atmosphere that seems trustworthy; however, one lean, blonde boy sticks out among the group to (y/n) so much so that it sends an itch through her brain.
