Error certainly couldn't pass the deal up, knowing he out of any other person could find one, and so he set out on his journey to retrieve a mermaid. Once he had captured one, things started taking a dark turn. Their relationship started as a fight over dominance which Error knew he couldn't win, though it quickly turned into flirting and then actually loving each other. Lost into the VOID, scattering across time and space. But someone had their eyes on the broken destroyer for a long time, and they were waiting for this moment. Now they can finally act.
