Tony Stark had lost his son when he was only 2 years old, stolen away in broad daylight. Years later, his path crosses with that of a particular vigilante. They are strangers to each other, or so they think. Tony has just made it through the disaster with Ultron. He is trying to keep himself and the team together but relationships are strained and tempers are running high. Peter Parker is on top of the world. After a few shitty years, losing his parents and then losing his Uncle, things are finally looking up. Sure he lives in a crappy little apartment with his Aunt but he might have just found his mission in life. ------ This is an AU story obvious by some of the tags. I'm starting out a few weeks after Age of Ultron took place. Civil War will be a thing. Other than that I'm not too concerned about sticking to every canon detail and storyline.

Peter Parker was alone. He never expected to find a home, much less a family after May's passing. He made a promise to himself to never become attached to someone, lest he lose them. When he accidentally texts Tony Stark, will he be able to keep that promise? Tony Stark was lonely. He was a billionaire, philanthropist, ex-playboy, and a genius! But something was missing. Something important. Tony missed his family. He can't get back his old one, but every night he wonders 'is it possible to create a new one?' I don't own Marvel or anything. The Parker curse continues to plague Peter and it doesn't help when the Avengers are sent to arrest him. They don't seem to get that he only wants to be left alone. And then Tony offers an internship to Peter. Peter decides to give it a try while trying to keep his identity a secret. Hopefully Peter will find a way to make it through the hard times and find a reason to hope.

Peter's already having a bad day when he starts to feel unwell; but a nonstop downpour and Dr. Octopus schemes aren't helping the matter. The teen must learn the hard way that he can't carry the weight of the world sometimes. However, luckily our Itsy Bitsy Spider is not alone.

After Uncle Ben died, Peter Parker's world crashed. Aunt May blamed him for his death and years later continued to do so. Not only does Peter have to look after school, work, and being Spider-man, but now he started working at the Stark Tower as an intern. Can Peter balance all the hate, bullying, and abuse that comes into his life, or will he give up trying?
