This is a Steddie fanfic, so do not read it if you haven't watched season four of Stranger Things. It's been a month since Vecna was killed and Eddie was mourned by all of his friends. Steve, in particular, was hit the hardest by his death and never fully got over the events that happened beforehand. Then Eddie shows up again. And nothing makes sense.

Eddie often comes by the video shop, Steve is trying to understand his own emotions.

Eddie Munson, 'the freak' of Hawkins high hated Steve 'the hair' Harrington, he was a douche and so clearly in love with himself, but did Eddie really hate Steve or did he hate the thought of seeing him with other girls?

Eddie woke up in the upside-down after being attacked by hundreds of demabats. He thought he died, but he remembered everything. Now he's back in Hawkins trying to get back into a new normal with a few broken laws on his record. Eddie got a job at the same Family Video Steve and Robin work at. Steve isn't so excited about it. Even though they went to the upsidedown and back, Steve doesn't really care to really get to know him.
