🥋⇒ Book 1/3 of The Karate Kid Series In September of 1984, Daniel LaRusso isn't too enthusiastic when he and his mother, Lucille, move from Newark, New Jersey to Reseda, California. Almost immediately, he meets and befriends you, a girl named Y/N L/N, who just so happens to live next door to him in apartment 19. Within the first few days of being in the Golden State of California, conflict stirs up and Daniel quickly finds himself the target of a group of bullies who practice karate at the Cobra Kai dojo.
