Harry James Potter wurde an Halloween 1981 von Lord Voldemort ermordet. Scheinbar. James und Lily Potter haben überlebt und widmen ihr Leben nun dem Widerstand. Sie vergessen nie was damals passiert ist. Doch das Leben geht weiter und der Krieg wird gefährlicher. Plötzlich taucht Er auf. Er ist die rechte Hand Voldemorts. Niemand kennt seinen tatsächlichen Namen, doch am besten ist er als Prinz bekannt. Hoffnung ist rar. Und dann heißt es, Harry Potter wäre am Leben.

Ein Jahr kann alles verändern. Es ist ihr letztes Jahr in Hogwarts und Lily und James sind fest entschlossen das Beste daraus zu machen. Doch es kommt alles anders. Lily und James sind gezwungen zusammenzuarbeiten, obwohl Lily James hasst. Doch James will seine letzte Chance bei Lily nutzen, während Lily in diesem Jahr entdecken muss, dass James vielleicht doch nicht so schlimm ist wie sie immer dachte... Innerhalb weniger Monate erreicht auch der Krieg die sicheren Mauern von Hogwarts und jemand scheint Jagd auf alle muggelstämmigen Schüler zu machen, unter anderem auch Lily... Ein Jahr kann vieles verändern. Freunde werden zu Verrätern, Freunde werden zu Liebenden, Hass wird zu Liebe, neue Freundschaften entstehen, alte zerbrechen. Aus Schülern werden Kämpfer, werden Feinde. Ein Jahr ist der Anfang für alles.

Die große Schlacht von Hogwarts ist gewonnen. Harry, Ron und Hermine treten ihr siebtes und somit letztes Schuljahr in Hogwarts, der Schule für Hexerei und Zauberei, an. Dieses Schuljahr hat es in sich, ganz besonders für Hermine ... Die Rechte an den Charakteren und der Welt liegen natürlich bei J. K. Rowling. Nach 5 Jahren kehrt Hermine zurück in die Zauberwelt, nachdem sie entschieden hatte für immer als Muggel zu Leben. Was passiert, wenn sie nach all den Jahren auf ihren ehemaligen Feind, Draco Malfoy trifft, der sich in der zwischenzeit ziemlich verändert hat? Hermine muss gestehen, dass Draco verboten gut aussieht. Doch auch Draco muss bei ihren Anblick staunen, als er Hermine nach so vielen Jahren wiedersieht.
