Avatar Story of Huang takes place 60 years after the events of the fourth book of the Legend of Korra and follows the story of the next avatar, a boy named Huang who happens to be the prince of Omashu. In a series of five books, we will see Huang go through love, sorrow, anger, joy, pain and agony but these events will make him stronger and wiser, eventually a fully realized avatar will arise and bring balance to the world.

This book continues the story of the avatars, a person that can bend all four elements, the avatars are the bridge between the human world and the spirit world. This book takes place sixty years after the legend of korra and follows the story of the new avatar, Huang, the prince of Omashu. Unlike other avatars, he is unable to speak with his past lives due to Korra splitting from Raava, how will this avatar handle it, will he crumble or will he survive and fight. Meruan is the new young Avatar, eager to show the world what he's capable of, ready for the responsibility that comes with being the Avatar.
