The ninja get notice that there is suspicious activity around Hiroshi's Labrinth, so they go to investigate. When they get there someone's already broken in. They try and stop the stranger but the stranger and his friend portal to another realm with the help of the realm crystal. Will the ninja be able to put an end to this new threat? The past comes to the future when Ray and three other elemental masters from the past somehow travel to the future. Can the ninja get the Elemental Masters back home before it messes up their future? Or will time run out?

Do you remember in season one, when all the ninja acted stupid, were stupid, looked stupid, knew nothing, were clumsy at basically everything and yet could probably win a gymnastics medal for the best flipping? I do! And I thought to myself, "Self, wouldn't it be hilarious if season 1 Kai met season 13 Kai?" Then I was like "Yes Self, it would be! Let's write about it!" He can't change this realitys future but doesn't want to alter it too much either. Once he gets to the past he realizes something really important... his past self and all the other ninja were complete morons.

After the end of the Sons of Garmadon and the threat of the Oni, the ninja believe they can finally catch a break. Really though, do they really think the universe will give them that chance? Suddenly, the remains of the Time Twins' mech, the Iron Doom, falls from above them, not including the Twins themselves, a blessing or a curse they'll never know. Despite the missing Time Blades, the residual energy sends a wave outwards. And suddenly, everything stops. And the Ninja are thrown through time. The date? Two weeks after the first battle with Krux and Acronix. Right in the middle of the Elemental Alliance.

When the Ninjas get the chance to change Garmadons past, Things go horribly wrong and it's up to them to fix it.
