"I need to go," I mumbled. Before I could take another breath, he had me pinned against the wall. "You aren't going to move another inch," his voice grew husky, and I watched his crystal blue eyes begin to cloud. "Your majesty," I began. I felt the knots in my stomach tangle further at his close proximity. "Let me make one thing very clear, love, I am the king here, and I and I alone am in charge. You are going to be a queen, and a queen cannot rule without her king." ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Cyan grew up a human girl in a land now ruled by the were-people. She grew up safe, protected, but determined to stay far away from the people who kept her safe. But when the Royal Court holds a ball in honor of the new King's coronation, guess who got dragged along? Damien grew up a powerful man in an equally powerful world. As the newly crowned Alpha King, he made it his job to find his queen. The only thing stronger than fear is love, but fear is a captivating devil. __________________

** Special Note ** This story will be edited at a later date to fit my current writing style, however, I am leaving this first very rough draft up until then. Highest Ranking -- # 1 in General Fiction - Feb 2015 to April 2015 Twenty-two year old Lea Mason didn't mind living a boring life far from the limelight that her parents enjoyed. In fact, she thrived in the solitude and mundane routines that she surrounded herself with. Carter Stephens, crime boss extraordinaire, enjoyed dishing out pain and punishment to those that dared to cross him. His only rules for life were simple: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer, know their every weakness and use that weakness to destroy them, never leave a witness alive, and never, under absolutely no circumstance, feel. **All rights reserved. There wasn't anything setting Evangeline O'Shea differently from someone you notice very briefly on a train to the person buying a carton of milk and a newspaper in front of you at the store. That made moving to Vancouver that much easier. She didn't, however, expect to meet a man like Michael Reeves through an unlikely incident at Simon Fraser University. She didn't expect to fall for such a dark and mysterious man let alone her History lecturer... And when she finds out that this man is in fact no man at all, she wonders if love is worth risking her life over. **First novel in Vampire series**
