When Jack's police record was getting too big for his father to keep bribing the police, a deal was cut in his behalf that sent him away to live with his aunt and start senior year somewhere else. There, he meets Jeovanni. The boy puts efforts into getting to know Jack, efforts that Jack doesn't appreciate. But when he found out Jeovanni was a repeat student for a reason unknown to the whole school, Jack gets intrigued into figuring out why. But, just as the reasons why Jack is the way he is, some secrets aren't made to be unveiled. AUTHOR'S NOTE: This book is a spin-off of one of the characters of my other book "Found", but you don't have to read it in order to understand "Forged Bonds", since both of them are independent stories. Enjoy the reading!

Running from his dark legacy, the werewolf hunter River must align with his enemy to protect himself from a vengeful pack and his own family; a low fantasy enemies to lovers story. River is a werewolf hunter, born into the esteemed, silver-lined legacy of the Ferreus Clan. It's not a life he wants and not a life he chooses for himself, and on the eve of his twenty-fifth birthday - on the cusp of an initiation ritual that will seal him into the coffin of his family's legacy forever - he runs. River stumbles upon the quiet town of Crescent Valley, a largely mundane, quaint place of old bookstores and pleasant cafés and peaceful nature walks. He also, through no fault of his own, stumbles onto a gruesome murder scene. Body torn apart, blood still warm, an odd symbol carved into the man's bare, scratched chest. He recognises the signs. Crescent Valley has a wild dog problem. Thinking of his hard-won freedom and desperate for peace, River vows to himself- one last job. So he sets out on a mission to find the killer and put an end to them, if only so he can sleep without feeling the cool handle of a silver knife in his paranoid grip. River soon becomes entangled in a feud between rival werewolf packs clawing for territory, and the alpha of the Crescent Moon pack, Rowan, is getting a little too close for comfort. In Crescent Valley, where monsters roam the streets, it is kill or be killed. Quite literally. ───── • ⋆⋅➶⋅⋆ • ───── Status: Complete Story length: 95,000+ words Disclaimer: Some parts of this story are rated mature. The Wildcats and Falcons have an irrefutable rivalry that's never been questioned. Alexander "Lex" Hope is the captain of the Falcons basketball team. And Ivan Petrov, the star player of the Wildcats. They're the spearheads of their town's basketball rivalry, causing havoc every time they butt heads. After his homophobic father kicks him out for being gay, closeted Ivan Petrov has no choice but to move in with his biggest rival, Lex Hope. What he first believes to be a temporary arrangement becomes his permanent residence. And the self-obsessed playboy Lex Hope seems... kinder (and harder to resist) than Ivan expects. Despite his local stardom, life isn't easy for Ivan. He has enough to deal with : an alcoholic father, a dying mother, and now: sharing a room with his nemesis. Overwhelmed, all Ivan can now do is live with hope. Quite literally. Suddenly, Ivan not only has to worry about Lex winning the Wildcats-Falcons match, but also Ivan's trust and - most importantly - his heart. Maybe that line between love and hate isn't so thick after all.

when Jaylen Park and Cassian Bergman cross the fine line between rivals and lovers they have to reevaluate everything they have ever known because straight guys don't kiss other guys, especially their teammates, and they sure as hell don't sleep with them either. It doesn't help that the two boys have this underlying sexual tension that they both can't explain because at the end of the day no matter what connection still lingers between them, they can't act on their urges because Jaylen is 100% straight and so is Cassian or maybe the two are just a little confused but it's okay because no matter how many kisses they share behind closed doors as long as they remember to say "no homo" afterward it simply doesn't count as love, right?
