Childe being the prince of Snezhnaya, was at the age to marry. He had to find a partner as soon as possible for it's forbidden for a King to possibly rule alone. So, he had to pick a fair woman to become his bride and rule by his side. Or so the prince thought-In the end, he was forced to get married by the Prince of Liyue who has an infamous name in Snezhnaya and probably even the whole of Teyvat. With negative thoughts in his head about a forced wedding and most of all marrying a man, he rejects the prince's love, only to find himself constantly having moments with the prince making his disliking towards him slowly shift into love. ( Author's note: I am actually not super deep within the game Genshin Impact and not so familiar with some of the places. So If I get the name of a place wrong or the characters I am dearly sorry. 'We are bound to each other by a contract.' Though Teyvat has yet to be but Mondstadht and Liyue, the world is vast. However, what happens to the rest of the world doesn't concern Childe. In his mind, he only cares for battles, wars, and blood. Perhaps the motivation is to protect his family, or, perhaps, the motive is revenge on the creature that lays in the abyss, waiting to strike at any moment. Or perhaps, he wishes to accomplish both and understand the contract set by him and Zhongli years ago despite not remembering the details. Meeting in the rain, the two placed an agreement upon themselves without an idea of how much destruction would take place. 'If either of us broke the rules set in the contract, we shall suffer the Wrath of the Rock.'

After finding out that the love of his life is destined to die in one week, Zhongli sets out to make it the best week of his life, while trying to figure out how to save Childe.
