13year old Nory Boxwood discovered that she can flux into animals and her best friend Reina Carjaval can conjure and manipulate flames. Together, they enter into Sage Academy for magical studies. Unlike Reina who did perfectly well in the placement tests, Nory failed woefully to flux into the exact animal she was asked to. For not being able to flux in the 'sage way', she was sent to the substandard UDM section of the school. With the other kids who were also sent there, Nory struggles to find herself. Can they discover their true potentials and save the school from shadow magic?
