Vanessa Morgan, 19, College Dropout That's what Vanessa imagined her resume looking like at the time. She was 19, living alone, and jobless, living off of the graduation money she had gotten. She had just turned 19 and not even half way through her first semester at college, but she stressed about crawling out of bed every morning to go to classes. So she did the most reasonable thing she could think of and dropped out. Not knowing what to do, she searched through endless Craigslist ads for people looking for roommates. After hours, she found a girl who was also 19, who lived a few hours from her, in Vancouver. Vanessa had found her new roommate.

Toni comes out to her mother, all the progress she's ever made in therapy flies out the window. Luckily she has Cheryl there to help her through everything

Cheryl is a "broken" teen, who has been through hell and back. She is accepted by her mother but picked on at school because of her father and brother's death. They died from a boating accident. She's also very smart and wears glasses. Toni is the complete opposite. Toni is very independent and lives with her uncle who is never home. She's the captain of the basketball team. She is popular at school and has many friends but only a few close friends. Everyone wants to be her friend. She has two brothers; Fangs and Sweetpea. You would think they would have to opposite life. The school mascot is a serpent.
