Ever since the Astera population wondered how to cure the mutation. A group of scientists led by Professor Nereid experiment on captured Stellars to see how the mutation gives them these abilities, and how to revoke them. This involves torture and live dissections. The Stellars, when not at war, reside on a small dwarf planet called Comet. They live peaceful lives as anyone would, but they are always at risk of being attacked.
