Seventeen is the age that decides who every young soul is destined to be with forever. Dating back to Neanderthals, humans have always felt this natural pull to the other half of their soul. Made to make sure that the human population is reproducing, the soulmate pull allows people to come together in harmony and have someone that understands them. They are part of each other before they decide to be, and compatible in many different ways. Sophie Foster and Keefe Sencen are frustratingly different. The only thing he's looking forward to at the moment - even as someone surrounded by popularity and as many girls as he could ever want vying for his attention - is finding his soulmate. He's been old enough to locate the other half of him for about half a year, but to no avail. When her seventeenth birthday strikes, she's dealing with more than enough. She's working towards getting a scholarship to a good college, avoiding bullies (as much as she can, anyways), and trying to scrape by under the radar with her best friend Dex at school. The moment the two's worlds collide, things spark between them. But it's when Sophie collapses that the new world they share together comes crashing down. This is a story that is unapologetically one of Sophie and Keefe's relationship, told in alternating perspectives of each. Cringily cute at times, and tragic at others, Owlmoon's SEVENTEEN follows the story of two worlds taken over by the inevitable. *Based on the Fairy Tale Reform School series by Jen Calonita* (Please note that in this AU, all of the main characters are sixteen instead of twelve 🤗 I did this because I didn't want preteens to be a part of any *possible* relationships 😉 ) *** "Jaxon. But Jax for short," I say, holding my hand out to her for two reasons. One, so she can shake it. And two, to help her get up. She does both, in that order. Her grasp is firm to my surprise. She's standing up now, close enough I can feel her breath. "Gillian. But you can call me Gilly." I smile, looking down at her. "And thanks again for helping me," she says, meeting me eyes. "Anytime," I wink. "You owe me one." *** Synopsis: Gillian Cobbler, a new student from Detroit, Michigan, catches the eye of Jaxon Porter, who is secretly the President's son. After accidentally dropping the contents of her bag in the hallway, Gilly, as the new girl, is surprised to have gained the help of Jax who helps gather her scattered supplies off the ground. This starts a chain (and inside joke) between them, constantly saying, "you owe me one!" and the occasional, "now we're even." A friendship sparks between them, slowly evolving into a relationship. Friendship, drama, competition, love, and apple pie. ***if you find any spelling, grammatical, or errors of any kind, please inform me so I can fix it! "Know-it-all" comments are appreciated! :)***

After defeating The Evil Shapeshifter, Rose's life seems to become more peaceful. Her dad even ends up having a talk with her mom and telling her the truth. Which of course leads her mom having a talk with her, but in the end, they seem to sort things out. That is, until Rose's grandmother gets sick. Her father, worried for his mother, decides to go to Amisé and her mother, not wanting to be separated with her husband again because of what happened before, insists on coming along, the two finally deciding to stay in Amisé for some time, taking Rose along with them. Rose gets to explore Amisé and learn more about it. Because after all, though she had visited the fairy forest, she hadn't spent much time in Amisé until now. But things become more chaotic. After all, Rose always had a way of getting into trouble. The peace that was there before was like the peace before the storm. When a girl named Vanessa insults Rose and dares her to go to the off limits, dangerous enchanted garden in the Forbidden Forest and bring her back a red rose, Rose accepts the challenge. But when she picks the rose to give to Vanessa, she finds out the castle is home to a beast, who holds her hostage at his castle. It's not like she could escape anyway. Picking that magic rose had consequences, and she was bound to the castle. Determined to go home, Rose starts studying to figure out how to free herself from the beast. But when she gets to know the beast and discovers who he truly is, will she be able to free him from his curse? Can she ever return home? It may be difficult to save them both, but Rose never backs out of a challenge. She isn't about to give up.
