Future Boruto has gone back in time to tell present Bourto that Kawaki his future foe has come to this timeline and wants to erase the whole shinobi world. Kawaki has got some of toughest Naruto villains from the past and Present; Pain, Danzo, Zetsu, Shizuma and etc. The Kages has announced war against Kawaki. Boruto, Future Boruto, Mitsuki, Sarada and other friends join the war to bring peace to the Ninja world.

When Naruto completely forgets about his Wife's birthday, Hinata, Boruto becomes furious with his own father. He storms into his fathers office and yells at him saying that he hates him and runs away. Himawari follows his older brother. Boruto goes into an abandoned building to find that, that place is where all the hidden scrolls are. Boruto tries to find a forbidden scroll for destruction but he searched through all of them but he couldn't find one. Until the last scroll was left. What came into his surprise that he cursed himself because the last scroll was blank. He wished that he wanted his father gone and dead. And said that he hated him. Until the scroll wished as he did but before that happened he saw all the memories of his father Naruto. He saw what his father had gone through since the day of his birth till the day he became hokage. But that changed when he got out of the scroll but Himawari was there too. But when he saw what he had wished for he was trying to take back everything he said.

Boruto and Shikadai both have parents who work day and night, rarely got time to spend with them. Shikadai was always alone when his father stayed over night at the hokage office while his mother travels between Konoha and Suna.
