When Merlin shows Arthur his secret, he doesn't take it so well. He banish Merlin from Camelot and his return will be punished by death. But soon after Arthur have send Merlin away he regrets it. The next year he tries to find his friend, but fails. Suddenly he gets other thinks to worry about when Morgana attacks and she is not alone.

Complete. When Arthur, Merlin and the knights are trapped with no hope of escape, Merlin is forced to reveal his magic. His reaction after the reveal takes everyone by surprise. Now Arthur must go on a journey that will take him to a cursed land in order to regain Merlin's friendship. Will Merlin accept to return?

It's just an ordinary in Camelot…well as normal as things get around here. Arthur and Merlin are out on a hunting trip by themselves and all seems well…until they are ambushed by a group of Morgana's men. The duo are separated, Arthur just escaping, but Merlin being caught. They take him back to Morgana, where she proceeds to torture him by twisting his memories. Every happy moment, every sad moment, every moment ever spent between Arthur and Merlin is twisted in Merlin's mind, causing him to believe that Arthur wants him dead. Eager to see Arthur's reaction, she lets Merlin go, making it seem that he escaped. When a search patrol finds him stumbling, weak, in the Valley of the Fallen Kings they approach him delightedly, glad to see he's safe. But when they learn the truth will things ever be the same between Merlin and Arthur again, or will he fear Arthur forevermore?

Merlin sighed as he finished Arthur's clothes. Today was the day. The day he knew pain. The day he knew betrayal. The day he found his magic. The worst day of his life. Arthur and the knights found out a long time ago to not ask about it, they don't like to talk about that day that it happened.... *shivers* Gwaine had enough though. He wanted to know what had happened that day. Gwaine kept thinking and realized that he knew very little about Merlin while, Merlin knew almost everything about every knight, servant, noble, everyone of Camelot it seemed. Gwaine decide to brush it off but,little did he know that was the biggest mistake of his life. What happens when strange knights come to Camelot only for Merlin to go missing the next day. What has happened to the so called clumsy servant, Merlin and who played a part in it?

Starting at the beginning of Season 4, Lancelot and Merlin manage to close the rift without a sacrifice. With Arthur curious about magic, Merlin finds himself revealing his talents to the most trusted of the knights and to the prince. Together they decide that they will bring magic back to Camelot when Arthur becomes king. Also, a funny Merlin meme in every chapter. For no reason, just cause I liked them. And I don't own Merlin, obviously. Just the story.
