[EDITED] It's been years since he was last able to speak, he lost his voice years ago when a certain incident happened. After that he simply went off as '𝒎𝒖𝒕𝒆'. Teachers believed him as he also hides behind a mask, as if trying to hide a secret underneath. Though behind all that backstory, he also played volleyball as a sport, played it in middle school and was planning to continue. That's when he goes to Karasuno High School, with goals of joining a certain volleyball team.
