Stumbling upon The Golden Guard hadn't exactly been on Edric's list of top ten things likely to happen while taking a walk in the woods. It certainly wasn't a bad thing though. After getting stood up, Edric was at an all time low with his romantic endeavors. After the golden guard has a small encounter with the Blight's son, he approaches his uncle with an idea that was completely unrelated to the encounter. He wants to infiltrate Hexside and gain more information about the human and the owl lady. And he will do it any way he can. Even if it means becoming friends with them. The only problem? She knows what he looks like. And he is smitten for the Blight boy. Classic high school. (set after episode 7 but it isn't that important.)
