They were no longer easy prey and began to organize. Some built stronger shelters; others developed makeshift weapons. Each mission became harder, more chaotic. My companions, V and J, seemed to enjoy the increasing violence. For them, every hunt was a game, an opportunity to hone their skills. I pretended to feel the same, but inside, something was starting to break. I made mistakes, let drones escape that I could have eliminated. V accused me of being "too soft," but she never reported me. Maybe because she thought I was harmless, just a temporary glitch. But I wasn't. I didn't know that soon I would find someone who would change everything, someone who would show me I wasn't alone in my confusion. But until then, my existence remained an endless cycle of unanswered questions and an increasingly hollow purpose. That void needed a revolution.
