It's been 16 years since Tom's fateful decision. Tika is in the care of the Rebellion Base with her two favorite, awesome uncles. They only spoke well about one of her parents while they seem annoyed with her other one. The only thing she looks forward to is the blue letters that are sent to the base from her mother. She learns a few things about the rest of her family through them, yet they don't give names. Tika knows she had two older brothers who she's been dying to meet too.
