(COMPLETED) There were creatures in this world lurking behind the shadows, unseen and unrelenting. But among them, standing proud and mighty were nine angels known as 'Amaranths'. Being the only white-winged Amaranth, Nine was deemed special. Forced to be confined within the walls of their fortress, she only had one friend, a human boy. He named her 'Callie'. She called him 'Zeke'. For eight whole years, everything was perfect... until the night he disappeared. Compelled to know the reason, Nine found herself accepting a deal just to become a human. Little did she know that it would be biggest mistake she had ever made. Because the guy who greeted her was not anymore her best friend, but a cold heartless Alpha whose hands were tainted with blood. In a world full of lies and secrets, what if love was not enough? This is a story of a selfless love and how a simple choice lead the fates of two people to be changed forever.

There in those city lights, there was no her and there was no him. There was just everything and nothing and the spaces in between, like flickering lights against a never-ending, black sky. There in those city lights, there was no love and there was no hate. There was just listening and talking and understanding every single thing, like the 'ready, stop, go' of car-chasers and dream-makers. There in those city lights, there was no sadness and there was no happiness. There was just candid smiles and wasted tears and bottom lips chewed off, like the overflowing boulevard of things unseen. There in those city lights, there was no lady and there was no man. There was just a boy and a girl, who promised to fall in love, not with each other, but in those city lights. As they begin to care for one another, and two of them even fall in love, they have to decide if ending their lives is really what they want. Can they save each other? A heart breaking story of love, friendship, death and figuring out who we really are.
