"You're alive for a reason. Everything you've passed through will shape you into the ultimate masterpiece because even golds are forged in fire to become jewels." I whispered softly. "And I dare you, Abel Ugochukwu Ejiofor. I dare you to persevere." Lucky Adekunle is a timorous seventeen year old with a mountain of insecurities and unending questions about her family. Even though her name has the word 'Luck' in it, It's the one thing she's never had. All her life she's dealt with an abusive father who wants nothing more than to mold her into the 'perfect child'. But the abuses suddenly become tolerable when she meets a certain boy diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. This is a story of two young adults from turbulent homes and their struggle to make it out alive.

I speak up on what I think is right. Apparently these days being a better person is to be "triggered" or an "sjw" if you don't like that people are changing for the better and don't have time for bull-- don't read, don't actively seek out things you don't like. Simple edit 2020 / a collection of random rants from a teenage wanna be, as I grew many of my thoughts changed. some for the better others were realizing that there's a bigger picture outside of race, feminism, and politics. I am not a feminist, I am a womanist. I care for the betterment of black women ONLY. Everyone else has their legion, so will Black women.
