Three young heroes, each imbued with a fragment of divine power, must learn to fight - and love - to stop the evil Shadow from plunging the world into eternal night. --- Eons ago, the Shadow was defeated and cast back into the Pit. The trio will be thrust into a world they thought only existed in legends and ballads. Village life will soon be the least of their concerns as they travel across an increasingly dangerous land to deliver a message that could decide the outcome of the coming war against an ancient evil.
