Kaminari notices Jirou's strange behavior recently and decides to try and make it better, but he'll need to ignore his large crush on Jirou first. He wants to help her as much as he can, as a friend, his worry that if he confesses is that if she friend-zones him, she might decide to ignore him meaning he can't help her.
