Before John Gage became one of the first Paramedics in L. A. County, he struggled through the training to become a fireman. Being part Native American and at the top of his graduation class from the training academy left him open for more pranks played on boots at his first station, but he was determined to prove himself. This story introduces many of the characters from the TV series in an original way. Since the show started with the paramedic training, the process of getting there was open for the imagination and mine got pretty creative. This is what I came up with. Many of the characters are original. Enjoy!

In this story, the men save a young girl from an accident and John and Roy develop feelings for the young girl to try and save her. Will John and Roy along with the Rampart gang with new doctor, Dr. Jane Harrison be able to save her?

Paramedics Johnny Gage and Roy Desoto respond to a car accident involving a drunk driver and a single mother with a little boy. The paramedics have responded to many, many car accidents in their career. This particular accident will change their lives forever!

John Roderick Gage was always thinking of new ways to do things. He was always on a tirade about how to get out of situations. But at this fire his ingenuity was really put to the test. Could he find his way out of this nightmare?
