They stand, tall and patient, piled high at one end of the desk. Adora adjusts her dress to a more comfortable position before wiggling in her chair. She supposes she's going to be here for a while. After all, there's a lot to think about... Where to begin? She ponders. At the beginning, she decides. Well, the beginning after the end - the first morning of peace. And after that? An adventure beyond anything she could have imagined. From the long-lost depths to the magical skies of Etheria. With the Horde truly gone, the rebuilding is all but complete. But that wasn't the case back then. Adora smiles at the thought of Catra; she was there that morning, quite unexpectedly. That was before they knew about her magic, before she learnt to control it. Adora takes a final deep breath, truly considering everything they've been through in the last six months since the Heart, since the Resurgence. All their highs and lows, good times and bad. It's all important, and she'll write it all down. With that thought in mind, she reaches for the first of the blank books and, after opening it to the first page, begins to write... (Contains SPOP season 5 spoilers!) Catra was certain of only two things, she decided, one being how much she loved Adora and how much Adora loved her. The other was just as simple. Maybe even more so. "Everything is going to be okay, isn't it?" Adora laughed, and God if it wasn't the most beautiful sound Catra had ever heard. "Yeah. I think it is." (A collection of Catradora fluff prompts.)

[Post season 5] Adora and Catra have to learn to deal with the aftermath of the war while exploring their feelings. ___________________________________________ "Are we, you know... together?" the question left Catra's cheeks feeling hot, even though she tried to sound unbothered. She wasn't particularly good at these things or expressing emotions in general. Adora took a second to admire Catra's face. She looked so cute when she was embarrassed. "Did you just ask me to be your girlfriend?" taunted Adora with a smirk on her face. "Pfft, No! Get over yourself!" Predictably, Adora's dorky laugh followed right after. Catra would endure all the embarrassment in the world if that meant she got to hear that sound for the rest of her life.
