Woohoo Joe here! This idea came to mind randomly and like went "wouldn't it be funny if Madeleine tried dark magic but it went horribly wrong and I made an angst fanfic about it. I think it would be funny." OH AND ALSO (like most of my stories) THEY ARE HUMANIZED!!! So I don't wanna see those "these are fucking cookies" messages in the comments alr 😡😡😡 Anyway this will be posted in groups of 3/5 chapters so ------------- "There's no way we're going to win the war at this rate.." Madeleine sneaks into Espresso's lab. "...May the Divine forgive me." He picks up a book full of spells. Was he really going to learn dark magic just for one war? It's the best option for now. But...it might have some drastic effects.

Espresso and Madeleine were best friends in middle school, they even had unsaid feelings for each other, but both of them were too embarrassed to admit it. One day, the two get into an argument and grow distant. Espresso and Madeleine become enemies, but slowly fall in love again.

He often finds himself grouped with the cookie- just because they come from the same place. Everywhere he goes, he has to find Madeleine there. Two months after Espresso moves into the new kingdom, things start getting a lot more complicated. Espresso now finds himself in a position where he's dragged along as Madeleine's sidekick. Now comes a month of grappling with flattering cookies, socialization, and worst of all: feelings. I made the cover by the way! but the art on it isn't mine, it's official art.

Espresso, Red Velvet, and Madeleine are in a poly relationship but with the catch that no one can know because it would probably ruin Madeleines reputation as a knight (Espresso And Red Velvet don't really have a reputation to uphold-)
