Midoriya is hit with a quirk during his internship, causing him to lose his voice. What they don't know is that in return, he's able to hear the thoughts of those around him, allowing him to discover things about his classmates he was never supposed to know. He might even learn more about himself in the process. DISCLAIMER I don't know a lot about sign so it's probably unrealistic, be warned!! Highest ranking: #1 in "bakudeku" (30/06/22)

Izuku was a sweet little boy, although a bad decision will change his life forever. He will no longer be human and will not be able to feel emotion. How will he get better? Who will help him? Warning!!! Blood and gore, dark and uncomfortable scenes. Some scenes may be a bit offensive to some people so careful about that. BNHA/MHA DOES NOT BELONG TO ME, just to be clear. (The cover is a painting I made not too long ago, it's temporary until I find a new cover with an artist to give credits to this time) Izuku will be op so yeah. Izuku x uraraka

Summary: Yagi Toshinori watched the green haired boy walk away after saving his friend and shook his head. While the boy's actions were heroic, he was just too reckless. He walked in the opposite direction, thinking about a time he could meet the candidate Sir Nighteye put forward. Izuku Midoriya goes home and decides that, even if he can't be hero himself, he can still help them with his analysis. Cue Izuku catching the attention of multiple heroes who are a little more open-minded and willing to see the potential in a quirkless kid.

(Slow Updates) There was a war between Japan and America that raged on for many years. Izuku's father, Hizashi was caught in the middle of a battle overseas while working and died as the ship sank as a bomb crashed into it. After scouts saw the jets and ships filled with American soldiers coming for Japan, they went into lock down mode. After months of the bombardment the government knew they could not take care of all the citizens. So in a last ditch effort they took all the children to a remote island so the children could flourish and continue to fight the war. But leaked information led to an attack on the island with the Americans taking over the island, turning it to a military camp for all the captives they had. One of which was a tiny and frail greenette who unfortunately did not manifest a quirk at age 4 and was deemed quirkless. Little did they know Izuku was not a normal quirkless child...

[On Hiatus] Izuku Midoriya can't remember a time when he didn't want to be a hero, a time where he didn't have the innate urge to help anyone, and everyone around him. Everyone around him had always told him that he couldn't do it, that he was weak, worthless, or not worth the time, but he never gave up, because he had made a promise to himself, a promise to his mother that he would become a hero. Of course he didn't remember this promise, but thats what you get when you supress half the memories you have from your early childhood in order to keep your sanity. But those memories can't stay buried forever, and when they start to resurface, Izuku's mind is almost as much of a warzone as the outside world is.

Izuku was born without emotions. It was an odd phenomenon and no one knew why it happened. ... ... Izuku knew what emotions were he just... Didn't know how to feel them. He felt numb and empty when he tried. He saw how other people reacted to situations, but couldn't react like that himself. He saw other kids talk excitedly and would try to replicate it, only for it to come out in his familiar monotone that shouldn't belong to a 4 year old.
