Set after the events of 911 Season 6 Episode 9, Red Flag... Eddie makes his choice and pursues a relationship with Buck. This comes with the trials and tribulations of getting together, being in love, the lightning strike, Buck's recovery, the secret relationship reveal, parental drama, and Buck's past as a SEAL coming back to haunt the 118. I wrote a large chunk of this story during the winter hiatus. Started posting on the archive in February. All of this is already posted there. You may have already read this there. This story will be ongoing and will deal with some heavy themes. Trigger warning up front. They will deal with, but not tolerate homophobia, ableism, Bobby's AA, Buck's history of abuse, Maddie's is mentioned, Eddie's family drama. These triggers and others make an appearance... None are tolerated, and they overcome things as a team and a family. There will be drama, angst, violence, smut, cursing, etc... There will be some angst between the characters. No character bashing ... they actually will deal with their issues to move past them. There is some drama between Buck and Maddie very early ... and then Buck and Eddie against Bobby... Eddie and Bobby, Buck and Chim... These are done to actually deal with plots the show leaves hanging.

After Buck's Lawsuit on the 118 station, Buck is finally able to go back to the station, his family. While everyone has already forgiven him, Buck begins to notice and feel something off about everyone. They have become distant with Buck, and don't seem to want him around. One night the entire team goes out to celebrate a tough shift but do not bring Buck along.Buck just so happened to be at that same bar, angered Buck leaves and something horrible happens to him. He was attacked after leaving the bar and waiting for an uber. Eddie was the first to leave the bar, wanting to talk to Buck but instead finds his best friend laying on the ground unconscious, and bleeding out. What will Eddie do now after seeing his best friend, the love of his life, barely clinging on to life? Will one of them confess their feelings for the other? What will happen to their relationship now? Will they overcome the challenges the universe throws at them or will it crumble? ! I DO BOT OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS, THEY ARE ALL FROM 911!
