This book is set before the book earth, when MacKenzie, child of fire, is 12 years old. MacKenzie is an elemental child who lives in the only place safe for people like her. MacKenzie has been dying to go on a quest and rumors have been flying around that some important things have been stolen. Everyone is told that to find out more, they need to wait for a certain earth child to arrive. When Pres arrives, MacKenzie is told that Pres is the earth child. She also finds out that the weapons of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air were stolen. She knows that she needs to go on the quest with Pres and recover the weapons, starting with the earth sword. But will MacKenzie be able to go? Will they find the earth sword in time? ******Note: The percy Jackson books may have influenced this story a little, but most things (like the characters) are mine. I did not use any direct references, though.

Seraphina is a werewolf. Except werewolves don't lose their minds when they transform. Some are evil, leading to the theory that they do. They can also transform whenever they want. When she finds out that she is part of an ancient prophecy, she realizes that this path, she will have to walk alone! Without even her best friend! Seraphina has never done anything totally by herself that was just pure her decisions and nothing else. She doesn't trust herself. She's a werewolf, after all! Because, the fact of the matter is, when everything comes down to the worst, and the world is at stake, can she learn to trust herself and her instincts. Because everything that begins must end. Everything that lives must die. And every good side of a coin must have a dark side. So flip the coin. Take a chance. Beat the odds. Raven is a princess. All of her life, she was told to stay away from werewolves. But something about Seraphina interests her. Raven is completely different from Seraphina in the way that Raven doesn't put her life in the hands of others. The only person she trusts is herself. Fate has twisted Raven's path into Seraphina's. Raven realizes that she is part of an ancient prophecy, that includes Seraphina. Can Raven betray tradition and follow this path she knows is destiny, or will she bow down to rules and expectations and stay in the castle, in the life she hates. Because she wants to be more then a princess. She wants people to remember her name, not as a princess, but as a hero. But midnight's never far away. Comes with the night, ends the reign of the day.
