Ostend, Belgium -- 1915 Moritz wasn't always a legend's pet. Once, he was an ordinary puppy, living on a farm in Belgium. But then things in his life took a turn. Both he and his brother are bought by German pilots, and soon Moritz finds himself living in a world where killing is right and crying is wrong. The world's eyes are on his master, Manfred Von Richthofen, who is quickly rising to fame as a flying ace. Manfred seems fearless and Moritz tries to follow suit. But wars are long. Nobody can be a good boy forever.
