After James and Lena's breakup, Kara invites Lena to her family Thanksgiving dinner. Brainy is also invited, and he misunderstands one of the customs leading to a few heartfelt conversations.

This came from a FB post someone texted me. Someone was driving, her bra was uncomfortable, she pulled it off, then tossed it out the window without thinking. We found this hysterical at the time, and you can write a SuperCorp fic about anything.

Lena Danvers, aka Supergirl, is sent to work out at a public gym after pictures of her in a bikini hit public media and the DEO worry it might bring her secret identity into question. While there, Lena meets her new trainer, Kara. The chemistry builds, but more is going on behind the scenes that will impact both their lives. L-Corp hosts a summer festival where Lena ends up judging the eating contest, much to her dismay. That is until one particularly attractive, blonde competitor shows up to sweep the contest, and Lena, off their feet.

"Ahh... Hi." Lena looks up at the blonde woman, expecting a fan that recognized her, she raises an eyebrow. "Umm... all the tables are taken up and the inside is full too. So do you mind if I sit with you? I mean I guess I could just go home but I was kind of looking forward to reading at my favorite Cafe on a beautiful day like today. But I can just go. I should go. Never mind." Lena laughs. "You can sit, as long as you stop talking." That doesn't happen though. They end up deep in conversation for the better part of an hour when Lena's phone rings, its Jess telling her she is late for sound check. "You have to go?" The woman looks disappointed. "Yeah, I do." "Wait!" Lena turns back to the woman suddenly standing and raises an eyebrow. "Can I see you again?" "I won't be here long. I travel a lot." "Well can I have your name at least?" Lena pauses to think then stretches out her hand. "Elena Colby." the woman takes it. "Well, Elena. I'm Kara Danvers. And if I see you again I am going to ask again." Lena smiles at the woman's boldness.

Kara Danvers has the responsibility of protecting her earth. But with a growing crush on her best friend things get a little confusing. Lena Luthor a put together CEO who puts on a hard front everyday, even if she's is breaking inside. A growing feeling of romance fills her but without knowing her best friends secret things don't always go to plan. Can They try to defy all the odds of being together, even when the universe throws disaster after disaster their way?

"Dr. Kieran is ready to see you," Jess says politely. "Thank you," the blonde responds. She moves to follow the short assistant and goes through the door that Jess holds open for her. The door closes behind her with a thud. A young doctor in a white coat approaches the blonde with her hand outstretched in greeting, "Hello. You must be Ms. Danvers. I'm Dr. Kieran."

Alex yelled across the entrance hall of the DEO. "Why not?" Kara turned to look at her sister, her red cape swishing around her as she turned. "I didn't come here just to watch this world fall apart. I didn't come here to watch this world burn." She took a deep breath. "Because... you're my sister and I can't lose you." Alex walked along the hall. "And besides... you didn't have a choice whether to come here or not." "Well, I can't lose Lena. She's out there just now, risking her life to try and save a city full of people that hate her." Kara said calmly, ignoring Alex's comment about her past. "I can't watch her burn." "I can't watch you burn." Alex said. "Please don't go." "I've got a fireproof suit that Winn made." Kara said.
