The thing was, due to the particular nature of his kekkei-genkai, Naruto had always had perfect memory. That was so even when he was only just born. This was why he knew that Minato had slaughtered his real parents while his brother ran away before Minato could see where he went. The kekkei-genkai of the child, however, was not what made the Konoha shinobi steal the boy, for he did not know of the stronger component of the boy's kekkei-genkai. No, the man had taken him as a hostage from Iwa before his wife decided to adopt him. On the night of the attack of the Kyūbi, Minato sealed it into his recently adopted son. They did not know that their supposed "son" had known from the start that he was not from Konoha. They also failed to realise that their little boy was really the precious younger brother of an S-rank nuke nin, Kagami Deidara. What if Naruto was Deidara's little brother? After his mothers death 8 yr old Deidara left Iwa with his 1 day old brother Naruto. He headed for Konoha in hopes to protect Naruto. Deidara being young decided Naruto wouldn't be safe in Iwa so he decided to take him the Leaf. After 'sneaking' into Fire Country Deidara went so he was only 1/4 of a mile from the Leaf. He left his brother there wrapped in a blanket with a card leaning against him with Naruto written on it. ANBU that had been following the young pair dropped down after Deidara had left for Iwa and picked up the child. They headed for the Leaf where they could ask their young leader what to do. Minato Namikaze the fourth Hokage decided to keep and raise the young child. However Naruto knows he's from Iwa, he knows that Minato and Kushina arn't his parents, and he knows he has a brother out there somewhere.
