Maaaalec babes!! I ship it hard so I decided to write a story about it.

Part 1 of the 'Eternal Fight' series. In which Alec becomes immortal, Malec gets married, but of course someone isn't happy.

magnus and alec are popular. probably the most popular kids in school, actually. magnus is the hot and sweet dance nerd with the most gorgeous smile anyone's ever seen. alec is the typical jock who knows how attractive he is, with hazel eyes that get everyone melting, even the boys. and the two of them couldn't hate each other more. during yet another heated argument, alec makes a move that even magnus is shocked by. and apparently the school gossip, who was watching them. when news breaks out of what happened, the boys have to make a decision; do they go back to the way things used to be, or do they stop denying the obvious connection that has been between them since day one? best ranking (as of jan 6th 2020): no.1 on the malec tag 😭😭🤯

Alec Lightwood was pretty content with his life, he had a successful job leading a law firm with one of his best friends, a great relationship with his siblings and a perfectly acceptable apartment. He really wasn't looking for anything more but when he finds a little girl waiting all alone in a coffee shop his life will change irremediably and maybe that's not such a bad thing after all. Or. The one in which Alec makes up with his mother, gets a boyfriend and adopts a little girl. Just not necessarily in that order.

Alec and Magnus get called to Madzie's school to meet with her teacher and the mother of another student with whom she'd had some problems. Set a couple of years after Call You Home though it can be read as a stand-alone if you just accept that Malec adopted Madzie in a human AU.
