Who is this overconfident, wealthy, all-American looking, White boy who just won't leave her alone? Doesn't he know they are from two different worlds and she has no business being in his. And yet, the stubborn man refuses to leave her alone even has the nerves to claim her as "his" even though they aren't dating. He's demanding, overconfident, walks the campus like he owns it and he's decided to own her too. He challenges her and shows her there is more to her than just being a shy student hiding behind her books. This is the second part to SSU - Sophomore Year. At Brent's insistence, Cathy decides to move into Goen Hall, the luxury dormitory that caters to rich college students along with her cousin Kiara to be closer to him. She meets her two new roommates, Sierra and Lynette who quickly becomes her friends. However, her roommates also battle with their own problems which Cathy tries to help the best she can. Lynette is running from a dark past that's determine to catch up with her. Sierra finds her true love where she at least expects. Kiara falls in love with a young man who seems afraid to love. Will she be able to open his heart to her? Cathy and Brent's relationship grows even stronger although they still must overcome many problems such as racial discrimination over their interracial relationship, Cathy's health, and other people trying to break them up.

As Natosha and Matteo "Four" Wittstock steps into adulthood and their new lives as a married couple, they are both struggling to make time for one another and themselves. Natosha is busy running a new restaurant for the community while Matteo's football career has launched him much further in the limelight than he would've liked. With this new fame came much more responsibility, and a new publicist has seemed to take his attention away from his duties as a husband to focus more on football and...her? All the while, Natosha's spending more hours at her restaurant and with a new private chef instructor helping her to perfect recipes, the two may be getting closer than one another wanted to admit. Natosha and Matteo are overwhelmed by the bulk of their new careers, the media's involvement in their relationship but that isn't the only hiccup that they are facing, because there is a new addition to their growing family...their first baby.
