She hesitantly accepts. But it is harder than she thought: every month on the full moon, she must go to the Prefect's Bathroom and swim in a huge bathtub full of salt water to regain her magical ability. She undergoes an extremely painful transformation in which she turns back into a mermaid for the night. But she isn't the only one with a deep dark secret...
