Farkas's perspective of "Realmwalker," with a few snippets of Vilkas's perspective thrown in. (Vilkas's snippets might be out of order as I get things written.) Farkas is resigned to being simply a warrior and a Companion along side his brother for the rest of his life... until a pair of newcomers arrive. This is fanfiction, which means some characters, settings, and plot elements are not mine. The cover came from a free download at getwallpapers.com that I found by googling "Skyrim scenery." (Specifically the same image that is used as the cover for "Realmwalker" just a different portion of the image.) Marked "mature" for occasional graphic descriptions of canon typical violence, mild vulgarity, and potential suggestive situations later on.

The Dragonborn would never succeed without that gamer behind the controller... A "modern girl in Skyrim" fanfiction. Bored of her quiet life in a small town, Adelaide wishes for a real adventure... Meanwhile in Skyrim, Catia has no idea what to do with her life, but she feels called to something more than being a merchant in Cyrodiil... This is fanfiction, which means some characters, settings, and plot elements are not mine. The cover came from a free download at getwallpapers.com that I found by googling "Skyrim scenery." Marked "mature" for occasional graphic descriptions of canon typical violence, mild vulgarity, suggestive situations, and references to sex and other intimate activities, but I do not write explicit content. Also, heads up, the main character is not the Dragonborn.

So, if you look up Farkas's skill stats, they might surprise you... On one of my Skyrim play-throughs, I did the thing where you drop a piece of armor near Farkas and then tell him he can have it when he asks, and that makes him available as a follower... so I took Farkas with me all over Skyrim even though I'd only started the Companion's quest line. That prompted me to look some things up and come up with a few head-cannons... So here's the story that I tried to make tie everything in my head together... "Farkas is intrigued when he meets a small imperial archer and is unexpectedly caught up in her adventures. As he learns more about her he soon decides he'll do everything he can to protect her... and that promise takes him places he never imagined he'd go; brings discoveries no one thought possible; and changes the course of everything..." Marked "mature" just to be safe, there is occasional foul language and graphic descriptions of cannon-typical violence, implied sexual content, and character death and grieving. Also, obviously this is fanfiction, I do not own the setting or several of the characters. Cover art by Ignea_Hotbrew, @NHotbrew on Twitter.

In all of my play-throughs I have to decide which NPC my new character will marry... and which one of my favorites will be left alone this time... I frequently end up imagining the others pair up with some other NPCs and such... but what if there was another character there with them from the beginning? So this story starts with Vilkas's and Farkas's childhood... my Dragonborn will get there eventually... but the Companions have one extra member. (Insert typical disclaimer about this being fanfiction and therefore certain settings, plot elements, and characters not belonging to me.) The cover image was made with AI art because I'm a writer, not an artist. (Much respect for people who can actually make legit art, I'm just not one of them.) Marked 'mature' for occasional vulgarity, cannon typical violence, and what will probably turn into suggestive situations when the characters are old enough for that. Also, heads up; sometimes I'm a bit of a "discoverative writer" (I also make up words). This might be one we just have to see where it goes.
