The leader of the fractions after knowing that issei had lost the sacred gear removed him from the dxd group and said that they (the fraction leaders) had sealed the beast with their power . Issei having known that all his achievements have been taken away from him had left the gremory peerage ,removing the pawn pieces from him and turning into a human , he told his parents he was going on a trip to kyoto (the yokai fraction didn't betray him only the devils,angels,fallen angles betrayed him).
