The 25th Hunger Games have begun, and thanks to the Quarter Quell, the unbelievable has happened for 17 year old Zac Brennon, as he is thrust into the Games along with his 13 year old sister, Crystal. The tributes are bigger, stronger, and crueler than they have ever been, and Zac finds himself a rebel of the Capitol, being the cause of too many deaths and roaring fires that not only play with the world, but within himself as well. Split into pieces, Zac makes the heart-breaking decision to do anything to keep his sister alive. But as love battles with survival, it become harder and harder for Zac to protect Crystal.

The final book in my Hunger Games fan fiction trilogy. (You should probably read the first two before you take on this story.) Prim is now older, but that doesn't mean she has changed one bit. Especially now that her worst nightmares are coming true. When Prim has to head back into the arena for the third time, she is tested against herself, and is pulled away from the ones she loves the most.

I feel immediately guilty for what I am about to say, especially since he saved my life by giving me bread. "So I have been thinking this over in my head and it seems that this is the only choice I have in order to make it home to Prim." I start. "Katniss?..." He says. He doesn't like what I am saying and I haven't even gotten to the worst part yet. "I know you want to make it back home to your family and I know that you are a part of my District, but I need to make it home to Prim!" I say, tears threatening to fall, I feel awful for what I am doing. Peeta looked extremely worried by this point. "What's wrong? What happened- " I cut him off " I'm... I'm... joining...the careers."

It has been a century since the rebellion, and the Capitol still wants revenge... As it is the Fourth Quarter Quell, there will be four games held this year. One will be held with twenty-four children reaped from Districts One to Four. The second will have twenty-four children reaped from Districts Five to Eight. The third will have twenty-four children reaped only from Districts Nine to Twelve. There will be six tributes reaped from each of the twelve Districts, and eight people will win each of the three Games giving us twenty-four finalists to take part in the Ultimate Games where only one will prevail victorious. Overall, seventy one children will die in this years Hunger Games and one will survive. May the odds be EVER in your favour....

Here in Panem, we are all depending on something, the Capitol depends on the twelve districts for goods, the districts depend on the Capitol for food and protection but also, the districts depend on each other. To highlight the fact that the districts of Panem are so dependent on each other, the tributes in this year’s Hunger Games will be randomly paired with one another. The pairs will be connected via a new Capitol invention that will mean when one of them dies, so does the other. This will mean that the pairs will have to protect each other, because their lives are in their partner’s hands and vice versa. As you may be wondering how this will affect the final outcome, I am very excited to announce that for the first time ever in Hunger Games history, two tributes will be able to win! Yes, you heard me correct. There will be two victors! You will all hear more about this after the Reapings have commenced, until then, I bid you all adieu.
